Lucien Albrecht and Valdo Wines Review {Holiday Gift Guide}

Romanus Albrecht started the winery in Alsace, France at the beginning of 1425, he respected grapes just like he had a great respect for nature. Lucien Albrecht Cremant D' Alsace wines had become one of the most popular and long standing finest brands in his country. The harvest is hand picked and 100% Cremant is produced in house the true champagne method, the grapes are pressed in a bladder press. Harvest and aging, after the second the fermentation is in the bottle, the aging lasts 18-20 months.  

Brut- distinguished fine and elegant bead, a beautiful straw color; a light delicate palate. 12% ALC.

Brut Rose- flavors of strawberry and wild cherry fruit, with mild palate. Balanced with dry, crisp acidy and complemented with a creamy texture and a long finish. 12% ALC.
Valdo in Valdobbiadene, Italy have been devoted to their continuous innovation and ongoing quest for quality for over 80 years. Valdo philosophy; "Prosecco" dedication and respect for the vineyards and wine making traditions of the region, their vision was to produce unique and unrivalled products that are refined-aromas, balance and overall quality are the key factors. The vineyards uses the traditional training method, which brings out aromatic, fruity features of the original vine. The grapes are soft pressed then the fermentation is in the bottle and the Charmat aging is three months, followed by one month in the bottle. 

Prosecco Brut DOC- straw yellow color, joined with a fine perlage and a fruity taste. Well-balanced structure, with its flavorful and aromatic, fruity fragrance. 12% ALC. 

Oro Puro Prosecco DOCG Brut- straw yellow color with gold, bright reflections of fine and persistent perlage. Floral with fruity aromas of strong pear and golden apple. 11.5% ALC.

I had received to review for my holiday gift guide of Lucien Albrecht and Valdo fine wines (as mentioned above). These wines would make the perfect stocking stuffer, or when having guests, families & friends, the wines would be the center of attention because of their delicious, refreshing taste.
