Cruzan Strawberry Rum Review

About Cruzan Rum: St. Croix in early 1800's, the Nelthropp family known as "Cruzan Rum Royalty" became part of the island's history. They use natural ingredients and a unique distillation process in all their rums. 

I was sent to review premium Cruzan Rum from the island of St. Croix & strawberry liqueur with 21% ALC/VOL. Amazing aroma of fresh strawberries! I had never tasted strawberry rum before so i was hugely super excited to try it. When i twist open the cap and taken one whiff, i was incredibly impressed with this company making a great smelling rum with fresh strawberries scent. I wanted to taste it without soda and i have to say this is the BEST rum i ever tasted! 

It has a mild sweet taste, what i like is that the strawberry flavor is not overpowering with the rum flavor, the combination flavors are very well balanced. I created a recipe with the rum, i put some ice cream into blender poured a bit of the strawberry rum in it blend it up and it came out tasting fantastic! very yummy indeed. You can create lots of wonderful recipes with this rum and at Cruzan Rum site, you can find varieties of recipes to make for this summer, you can find it at their recipes section.
